Will the E-Commerce Businesses in Nepal Gradually Boost-up Amid Coronavirus Lockdown?



In Nepal, the total number of coronavirus positive cases has reached 548 and reported 3 deaths, as per Worldometer data. People in Nepal are adhering to lockdown protocols such as social distancing and self-quarantine but the sheer demand in essential items is setting a toll on e-commerce companies.

However, in light of lockdown, people are finding it hard to purchase daily necessary goods, like medicine, water, gas, and groceries. Residents in Nepal are frightened to go out in crowded areas due to the rise in cases. The Government has allowed shops to open at a particular time and began home delivery services for people amid coronavirus, however, initially it was not that successful.

As indicated by media reports, there are numerous spots where the delivery of essential items was not done on schedule.
